One of the most important factors of working with a team is knowing who you're working with, so we'd like to take a moment to introduce ourselves. Our business story is the best kind: what started as a client/provider relationship quickly developed into a friendship and the decision to work together to bring Restless Hearts Publishing to life with the single goal of helping other indie authors avoid the pitfalls we stumbled into early in our career.
Books are our passion, and Restless Hearts Publishing isn't just for author services but is also home to our own books and the home base for the upcoming, book-centric travel blog, Where the Stories Take Us.
Ultimately, we are two authors who love stories and helping authors like us. What we're not is a vanity press. We will never ask a dime to publish your novel or make big, get-rich-quick promises we can't keep. Our services are focused on helping you publish your project, and that's just how we like it.
Meet the Team
Robin Alexander
Editor, Website Designer, Formatter, Consultant
With a love for both storytelling and helping others reach for their dreams, Robin spent years planning and putting together ideas to help other indies avoid the pitfalls she experienced when she ventured into self-publishing. Restless Hearts Publishing is the culmination of late nights and big plans.
She has been in the publishing industry for nearly eleven years as both an author and an editor. With nearly twenty titles on the market in two pen names, she understands the trials and joys facing indie authors and adores pointing the way to help others succeed. She has freelanced with both individual authors and two small publishing houses along the way. Her experience encompasses many programs including Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Wix, Brizy, Atticus, Shopify, Fourthwell, and more.

Susan Berry
Marketing Director, Promotional Graphics & Book Cover Designer, Consultant, Book Trailers
Susan has always been passionate about helping others. So with a college degree in Social Science and a 25-year career in marketing, it was a natural transition for her to partner with her friend Robin and start Restless Hearts Publishing. Her love for design and creativity has made her a valuable asset to the clients she holds dear. With decades of experience in professional writing and having authored several romance novels herself, Susan understands the hardships of the journey from manuscript to print. She has become a dedicated cheerleader for her clients throughout the process, always available to guide them through struggles and joyfully celebrating each of their victories—usually with chocolate!
